Four Ingredients to Give a Healthy Twist to Your Everyday Tea
Hello everyone!
Welcome to my blog HealthyWealthy!
Today, I want to discuss how we can make our everyday tea tasty and healthy! I think, most of you have tea daily at least in the morning and evening. Tea is just irresistible especially in the morning, during winters, a stressful day at work, or while having a headache. I am sure, you also agree with me. However, there are some people who just love to have tea, be it any time of the day! But, I think you should be aware that excess of anything can be harmful. The same is true for tea as well. Drinking a lot of tea is not good for health; however, drinking tea once or twice a day can work. I only prefer having tea twice a day and add some of the natural ingredients to give a healthy twist to my tea. Here, I would like to share some of those natural ingredients that can be added while making tea to make your tea healthful:
Ginger: Ginger is one of the most popular natural ingredients that I use every time while making tea. My tea is just incomplete without ginger. I put some grated ginger to my tea while boiling it. Ginger has antibacterial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties. It is very beneficial during cold or cough and helps fight with a throat infection.
Tulsi Leaves (Holy Basil): The Second very beneficial natural ingredient that I use most of the time while making tea is tulsi leaves. Especially, during the rainy season or in winter, tulsi tea is very beneficial. It has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. I used to put 3-4 tulsi leaves in the cup while serving tea. It gives a great aroma to the tea and also enhances its taste. Tulsi tea can be beneficial during cold, cough, or sore throat.
Black Pepper: Black pepper can be crushed and put in the tea while boiling it. It is very helpful to have tea with black pepper into it during winters as it helps fight with common cold or cough.
Clove: This is another ingredient that helps during cough. It has anti-inflammatory properties and can heal sore throats. Adding two to three cloves in your tea can soothe your throat and gives relief from coughing. This tea is also helpful during headaches.
The above-mentioned ingredients can help you make your daily tea tasty and full of health benefits. Most notably, this tea is very beneficial if someone has problems such as cold, cough, sore throat, throat infection, and runny nose. Currently, during the corona period, we should try to make our everyday tea healthy by simply adding these natural ingredients to prepare our body immune against coughing or throat infection.
So, stay at home, stay healthy, and have your tea. Don’t forget to give a healthy twist to your tea. Stay tuned for my next blog! Also, please share your thoughts on how did you like the idea of making your tea healthy and tasty!
